Policy 3-8 - Organizational Pattern

CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION

The organizational pattern of the Preston County Public Schools as they currently exist is kindergarten through six as the elementary schools, grades seven and eight as junior high schools, and either grades seven through twelve or nine through twelve as high schools. However, regardless of the organizational pattern, the Preston County Public Schools will make every attempt to address the needs of students in the following groups as directed by the State Board of Education: Early Childhood (K-4), Middle Childhood (5-8), and Adolescent (9-12).
