The school administration shall draft the proposed annual school calendar, which shall meet the minimum standards set forth by state law or State School Board policy. Drafts of the proposed calendar shall be distributed to the various work locations where they may be reviewed by all employees. Said employees shall have a period of time to review and comment on the proposed calendar, or they may submit a different calendar to the superintendent for review. The superintendent shall present all proposed calendars that meet the minimum standards set forth by state law or State School Board policy to the Preston County Board of Education for consideration prior to the adoption of an official school calendar.
